Update as of 7th June 2010

  1. Didier Drogba of Cote D’ivoire is keeping everyone on tenterhooks. Apparently his elbow surgery is successful. Now will be out there to play Brazil?
  2. Andrea Pirlo’s calf injury has also put question marks on whether he will be there to defend the World Cup for Italy. The Italian football chief says he will be fit in time.
  3. Rio Ferdinand is out of the England back four. Ledley King comes in.

I will update this blog post as and when the relevant news come in.
